Troubleshooting myFocus Mobile
myFocus Mobile updates data by the time interval configured in Create. If users are having issues seeing store data there are different areas you can check to ensure the system is configured properly.
Set to Passive Mode
Many older sites are not set to Passive Mode. If you find that your myFocus uploads stopped with no changes, make sure that Passive Mode is selected in Create. This is a change from the previously recommended setup. For documentation on how to setup myFocus Mobile please see the knowledge base article below.

User Name and Password
The most common mistake is entering an incorrect user name and password. A simple way to check if the user name and password are correct is to log in directly to the my.focuspos.com website with the users credentials. If you can access information from the web, please re-enter your user name and password on your mobile device. If you cannot access information on the web, log in with your dealership credentials and double check the User ID and update the password. For more information on how to perform these functions please check the knowledge base for the below articles.

myFocus Credentials
Another common error on new accounts is the configuration of myFocus in Create. Reenter all your credentials and make sure Passive Mode is selected. You can search in the message file for "Transfer Complete" to see if the upload was completed successfully. Email Station Running Focus Order Entry
The myFocus upload requires Order Entry to be running on the station processing myFocus. Your Email station is the station that processes the myFocus upload. If your Email Station is the back office computer running Setup, myFocus will not upload. Make sure that your Email Station is run- ning Order Entry or change it to a station that is.
Older Versions
myFocus has made many changes and enhancements that requires a version of 17.10.x for ideal performance. Upgrade older sites to the latest Focus version for best results.
Internet Issues
myFocus requires Internet access. Make sure that the Email Station has Internet access.
Firewall
FOCUS uses standard HTTP port (TCP 80) to upload data to the MyFocus Servers. A router does not need to be configured but if you are installing a firewall then you may need to allow outbound traffic to api.myfocuspos.com on TCP Port 80.
