Set Vx805 Buffer Memory Parameters

Verifone Vx805 XPI Load 8.42b and older had insufficient standard memory to handle a high volume operation. The memory is adjustable on these units. This article explains how to adjust the memory allocation.

1. Press F2 and F4 to enter system mode.
2. ​The password is 1 ALPHA ALPHA 6 6 8 3 1 Enter
3. Press 2 for “Edit Parameters”
4. Press ENTER and select “1” for “Group D”
5. The password is 1 ALPHA ALPHA 6 6 8 3 1 Enter
6. Press ENTER to select “CONFIG.SYS”
7. Press 1 for “New”
8. For the parameter name, enter *DHEAP
9. Press ENTER to confirm the new parameter
10. For the value, enter 0
11. Press ENTER to confirm the new value
12. Press 1 for “New” again
13. For the parameter name, enter #CZE
14. # is located below the 9 key
15. Press ENTER to confirm the new parameter
16. For the value, enter 1
17. Press ENTER to confirm the new value
18. Press CANCEL
19. Press 1 for “Restart”

Enter	Green key
Alpha	Black key above the #2 key
*	Below the 7 key
For the alpha characters (i.e. a, b, c, d etc.), press the associated number key followed by ALPHA until the correct letter appears
