IP Printer Fired Cash Drawer Setup

Cash Drawers can be driven by IP Printers. Below details how to setup cash drawers using IP printers.

Restrictions

Focus Version 7.4 Build 14.4.30 is required

Process
Step 1: Setup IP Printer

• Navigate to Printers > Network Printers
• Name = Name of Printer
• Port = IP
• Driver = Driver of Printer
• Station = Station running the printer
• IP Address = IP Address of the Printer
• Save and Close

Step 2: Assign Device to Station

• Navigate to Locations > Stations > Devices
• Device = Drawer
• Port = IP
• Baud = <None>
• Parity = <None>
• Data Bits = <None>
• Stop Bits = <None>
• Initialize = IP ADDRESS OF PRINTER
• Access = Printer Cash Drawer Access Code
• Name = Name of Cash Drawer (Optional)

Note: Epson and Epson Emulation Drawer Code = 1b70000a64

Step 3: Save, Close and Restart Terminal with Device.
