Enabling Zip Code on Manual Credit Card Entry

This article will show you how to enable a field for Zip Code when doing a Manual Credit Card transaction. This is a good feature to use when taking phone orders and need an added layer of security to verify that you are dealing with the card owner. Many credit card processors will even lower their fees with this enabled.

To enable the Zip Code field for Manual Credit Card transactions, in Setup select Miscellaneous>Credit/Gift/Loyalty/Customer Select the checkbox, Enable AVS (highlighted in green in the image to the right) ***This is only for MANUAL credit card transactions and will not show when just swiping the card***
