Kitchen Chit Separated by X Number of Items

The ability to separate kitchen chits by a specified number of items allows the establishment to control how long their remote tickets are. Many fine dining establishments prefer the kitchen chit to have no more than 6 items. This eliminates the paper from being too heavy and falling from the ticket rack, or simply being too large to navigate. Below details the process to configure this.

Process

• Navigate to Printers > Remote Check Formats
• Select the Remote Check Format
• Select 'Separate Chit by Item'
• Enter the maximum number if items in the 'Chit Item Count' field
• Select Save and Close
