Focus MobilePay: Flow
Background
Focus MobilePay is Focus' pay-anywhere solutions. By presenting your guest with a smartphone readable QR code, your guest can view their receipt and immediately add a tip and pay out their check.
Process Flow
Upon scanning the QR code the guest will be taken to https://pay.focuspos.com/{secretSauceReceiptCode} where they'll be able to view their check.
If the Balance Due is greater than $0.01, they'll be presented with a Submit Payment button at the bottom of the web-check.

Clicking Submit Payment will take them to a slideout where they can enter their desired tip amount. Tip amounts are controlled via the FocusLink Admin Portal. If special Tip Amounts need to be added, please contact the Helpdesk.

After selecting a tip and pressing Continue the guest will be prompted to select a Payment Method. If the restaurant is setup for ApplePay, GooglePay or other contactless/non-standard payments, they can select it here. Otherwise, the guest can select Credit Card.

If the guest is paying out using Chrome Browser on a PC or Mac, they will be prompted to use a credit card stored in their Chrome Browser (Chrome Pay) (if they have one). They can hit Cancel to bypass the Chrome Pay system.
Note: If the guest is not paying via the Chrome Browser on a PC or Mac, they won't even see this prompt.

If the guest decides to enter in the credit card info manually, they'll do so at the Billing Details screen. From here, they can enter their credit card number and billing info.

After hitting Submit Payment, the payment will be processed and the check will be closed successfully in Focus. If the payment is declined, the check WILL NOT be closed and the user will be notified to contact the restaurant or try another card.
