What's all this then?
FocusOnline users can integrate their restaurants with UberEats via the FocusOnline/FocusLink solution.
When integrated, Eaters can place orders via the UberEats website & mobile app. Once the Eater finishes ordering, the order will be automatically sent to your FOCUS system.
All menu items & modifiers ordered by the Eater will be automatically rang up in FOCUS and the order will be automatically sent to the kitchen printers/displays.
How much does it cost?
From the Focus side, an integrated order costs $1 and UberEats counts towards your FocusOnline Order Usage, so budgeting for integrated orders is easy.
Charges from UberEats are based on your arrangement with Uber.
Additional surcharges or fees from Uber may be incurred and are not included in the FocusOnline Order Usage fees.
What does "Integrated" mean?
Integrated means that your FOCUS system and UberEats become "linked". When you make changes to your FOCUS menu and refresh your FocusOnline menu, you can then "send" those changes to Uber. There's no longer a need to make a change in POS, then make a change in Online Ordering THEN make a change in Uber. It's just so simple!
Also, your orders become integrated. So when an Eater (that's a guest in Uber speak) places an order via UberEats, that order is automagically sent to your FOCUS system and 💥 the order is in your kitchen and sales are recognized.
One thing to note - because your relationship with Uber may be unique, the order received by Focus will not contain any info about the fees charged to you for the order by Uber. So the amount of the POS check will be the amount that the guest is paying, minus any fees paid by the guest to Uber.
